COUNTRY KARAOKE CONTEST

It’s Bobby Mackey’s 30th Anniversary!!!

And He’s Coming Out to Hear You Sing!!!

IT’S THE 2008 COUNTRY KARAOKE CONTEST
Thursday, July 17, 2008 8:00 p.m. held in Pavilion (located below fair kitchen)

Bobby Mackey is behind the Karaoke Contest that Wanda Kay will be hosting at the Kenton County Fair Grounds this year. It’s Bobby’s 30th Anniversary this coming Sept. 6th and he’s inviting some new faces to come sing at his Country Nightclub in Wilder, Ky., on Saturday July 19th, 2008, during prime time, on the Karaoke stage. Bobby Mackey will also be awarding $50 cash to both first place winners, and $25 cash to both second place winners of the contest. Wanda Kay runs the DJ & Karaoke stage at Bobby Mackey’s and will be supplying the stage set-up and music for this event. As you know, Bobby Mackey’s is a Country Night Club and we will be expecting you to sing something Country!
• No Hip Hop or Rap Please
• All entries must be 18 years of age and have ID
• All entries must sign in between 6 p.m. & 7 p.m. at the contest area. NO EXCEPTIONS-cut off time is 7 p.m. SHARP-no phone-ins
• Female competition starts at 8 p.m.
• Male competition starts at 9 p.m.
• 20 names will be drawn randomly at 7 p.m. to see who will compete in contest.
• Please select a song to sing after submitting your name, so that you are ready to go if your name is drawn.
• Each contestant will sing one song.
• All will be judged by a panel of 3 professionals in the music industry

We only have time for TEN SINGERS for EACH Category
All entries will be placed in a bucket
Ten male & ten female contestants will be randomly drawn to see who the lucky 20 are that will get to sing in the contest!!
