**NEW** KENTON COUNTY 4H RECORD BOOK POLICY
Rule change is new in 2017-If you are displaying projects in the 4H building, you must complete 1 record book of your choice. If you have an animal project, you must complete 1 record book of your choice. However, Market Animal Exhibitors must complete a Market Animal Record Book. The maximum record books to be completed per 4Her is 2--one for animals and one for the 4H building. PLEASE NOTE: You will be judged/paid for one record book in building and one record book in the barn only.
Junior - Ages 9-13 (on or before Jan 1st of fair year)
Senior - Ages 14 -18 (on or before Jan 1st of fair year)
To enter an exhibit into the fair as a 4-H member, youth must be 9 years of age on, or before, January 1st of fair year and will enter into the "Junior" category where applicable. To be eligible for the "Senior" category, youth must be between the ages of 14 on, or BEFORE, January 1st OR 18 on, or AFTER January 1st of fair year. If youth turns 18 BEFORE January 1st of fair year, they are no longer eligible to enter as a 4-H member, but may enter in Open Exhibits.
