4-H classes are limited to Kenton County 4-H only
All Kenton County youth must enroll in 4-H by April 1st, completed 6 hours of horse
Education with a certified leader and have turned in a companion animal project
book by July 1st at 4 pm to be eligible for 4-H classes

HELMETS MUST BE WORN IN ALL CLASSES

ALL 4-HER’S MUST PARTICIPATE IN SHOWMANSHIP TO BE ELIGIBLE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR RIDING CLASSES.

EXHIBITORS CAN ONLY SHOW IN LEAD LINE OR WALK TROT BUT NOT BOTH.

All Entries must have a Current Negative Coggins Test & Health Papers.

Kentucky requires Out-Of-State horses to have Health Certificates issued within 30 days of show. In-state horses must have a Health Certificate as Required by Kentucky.

Request for Tack Change must be made during registration. Tack Changes will be allowed TWO minutes only.

Each 4-H member must have record books turned into the extension office no later than July 1st.

Each 4-H member participating in horse activities must attend 6 hours of training conducted by 4-H Horse certified volunteers in order to participate in any horse activity. 4-H members who do not complete 4-H Horse Certification hours will not be permitted to show or register a 4-H Horse Project.
